The Intermediate Level Scorecard

The intermediate level scorecard has been created for those companies who want to analyse their ECR capabilities in a bit more depth than they can with the Entry Level Scorecard, but who still do not want to commit the time and resources necessary to using the Full Global Scorecard.

It is particularly useful for retailers who wish to work with suppliers on improving ECR capabilities, and who wish to go to a little more depth than with the Entry Level Scorecard.

The Intermediate scorecard contains questions organised into the following topics:-

• Assortment

• Promotions

• New Product Introduction

• Consumer Value Creation- Supply Management

• Supply Strategy & Capabilities

• Responsive Replenishment

• Operational Excellence

• Integrated, demand-driven supply- Enablers

• Common data and communications standards

• Cost/profit and value measurement

• Product safety and quality processes

Each question can have one of four different answers using the scale:Red, Orange, Yellow, Green.

On www.globalscorecard.net we have developed a workflow which allows companies to work together on completing the Intermediate Level Scorecard and identifying improvement actions. Under this workfolw, each company creates its own intermediate level scorecard, which are then matched together by the system. Trading partners then meet together to review the scores, decide on the final scores and agree the necessary follow up actions.
